Excellent quality eggs! Good size, clean, well packaged for postage, and 11 out of 12 were fertile! Chicks are all healthy and doing well! Thank you 🙂

  2. Claire

First time we have tried quails and got 7 out of 12.

Lost two to a neuro problem so now have 5 very healthy energetic quails who are very adorable and growing fast. They are two weeks old tomorrow,

Service was faultless and communication from yourself was first class.

    Thank you

  3. Carole Maitland

Bought 12 Jumbo quail eggs from you. Out of the 12 11 were fertile and 9 hatched. All 9 are happy in the brooder. Nice strong chicks. Very pleased with the advice from the staff at Moonridge Farm. Excellent service

  4. Carole Maitland

I bought 12 Italian and 12 Japanese quail hatching eggs. All 24 eggs were fertile, and 22 of them hatched successfully. Now 3 weeks later, the 17 remaining chicks are eating and growing well. Nice strong chicks. Thank you for your advice on storing the eggs prior to incubation. Also advice on incubator set up, especially with the temperature and humidity. Also the fact that I just keep quail as a hobby, you had the time to answer my questions. I’m getting an addiction to these delightful little birds now.. Many thanks again

  5. Stephanie

Bought 1 dozen Italian eggs. Only 1 infertile. A couple of late D.I.S’s. Now have 7 little peepers running around as noisy little fluffballs.

  6. Amir Manafikhi

Bought 1 dozen Italian and 1 dozen Golden Giant.19 successful 4 infertile and 1 lost, however, very pleased with the rate. The delivery was a bit delayed but the hatch rate and packaging quality made up for it.

  7. Pamela Mitchell

Bought 12 Italian quail eggs, first time hatching and got 11 out of 12, they are all a week old now and doing very well!

  8. Emma

    Dear Moonridge Farm Team,

we bought 12 Japanese quail eggs from you a few weeks ago to hatch and as a family start our quail keeping journey.

Initially we got off to a slightly delayed start. Your eggs arrived promptly and very well packaged, however, the incubator was delayed, which meant that we had the eggs sitting in the shipping box for a week.

To be honest, knowing that the hatch rate decreases when the eggs get older, or haven’t been stored correctly… I wasn’t too hopeful of how well we would be doing – combined with the fact that we are novices and “first time hatchers” we anticipated that we may get 3 or 4 quail.

Well, how wrong were we, because all 12 eggs hatched. So now we have 12 healthy and fluffy little chicks running around in their brooder box busily eating, drinking and doing all sorts of quail things.
    We have named them Bumblebees.

So, I would like to say a big “thank you” to the whole Moonridge Farm Team for helping us get off to such a brilliant start in our quail keeping journey and we look forward to ordering some Golden Giant quail eggs with you once we are ready to expand.

  10. Sarah Gale

I purchased 24 quail hatching eggs a few weeks ago, one was damaged in transit but out of the remaining 23 eggs we incubated- we’ve had 18 hatch. Amazing hatch rate for posted eggs, Especially as they travelled from Devon to Suffolk!

    Will definitely order again!

  11. Nik Hubbard

Great service, quick delivery and eggs well packaged. 9 out of 12 hatched into very healthy, vigorous chicks!

I’ve just taken delivery of some POL hens to add to the numbers – really nice birds and same great service.

    Thanks Moonridge Farm!

  12. Simmons

    Dear Moon Ridge
We bought four dozen moon ridge blue eggs in May just to say we hatched 39 and now have 37 little blues buzzing around. They were a day late in the post and we were concerned with how they were treated in the post. Wow we are so pleased with them and our hatch rate as we are complete beginners.

  13. Tom

Fast postage, no eggs were broken in the post and after 16 days I had 8 out of 12 chicks hatch, who are all very healthy and happy 🙂
