VISITS , PURCHASING , COLLECTION OR DELIVERY

We welcome visitors to Moon Ridge Farm but would ask that you call ahead to make an appointment to ensure that we are here and not busy with other commitments.

All our birds are from healthy pure bred stock , if we have not bred the birds ourselves we will make you aware of this . The majority of the birds are bred by ourselves and our main business is breeding our own stock .

Whilst here you are welcome to wander around the waterfowl enclosure ,where you are also able to see the domestic ducks and geese and ornamental pheasants .The poultry are housed along the track to the enclosure .We are hoping to add more pens here for the domestic ducks and to house the young stock. Please ensure you wear boots or walking shoes .

If you are coming to purchase specific birds and we know this ahead of time we like to catch up prior to your visit . We either do this early in the morning or late at night to reduce stress  for the birds whilst visitors are here.

If you require advice and help on selection of your breed of bird and in their housing needs etc please let us know when you arrange your appointment so we can set aside time in the day to spend with you during your visit 

If you are coming to take birds home with you we ask you to bring a suitable carry box ( we can advise what to bring) with you . We do recycle cardboard boxes but numbers we can provide is limited .

 If you order your birds and wish them to be delivered we can organise nation wide delivery please contact us for details . We take cheques, postal orders and cash , no credit cards at present  .

We are happy to take orders in advance , for some of the breeds this is advisable as they only lay small number of eggs . We will take your contact number and call you when they are ready to go. For large orders and the more expensive breeds we would take a deposit

With all livestock there are  no guarantees and can not promise to fulfill all orders , any deposits are fully refundable and we contact people as early as possible if we are unsure whether we can supply your birds.

If you are ordering your birds on line or over the telephone  and using the delivery service we ensure that your birds are of excellent quality and are are true to any standards set .
