Moon Ridge Farm is a family run small holding; Merv,Kate and their two children The thirty seven acres was purchased in Spring 2004 and we moved onto the farm in August 2007 The farm is located on the slopes of the Exe Valley just two miles from Exeter .

Moon ridge has been developed specifically for the rearing and breeding of birds :Chickens , Ducks , Geese , Quail , Guinea Fowl , Peafowl , Swans , Turkeys , Pheasants &Waterfowl . Over 120 species of birds . All year round Point Of Lay Chicken .

We have over fifteen acres of purpose built pens all with ponds fed by our own spring water. Our birds are able roam through out their pens on meadow grass with a variety of man made and natural nesting areas along with mature and young trees , bushes, shrubs, and even Christmas trees!!

 Our farm has expanded rapidly , from bare land six years ago we are now home to more then 120 species of birds as well as pygmy goats , fallow deer , pigs and sheep and our latest Wallabies both Palma and Bennetts Customers are welcome to walk around the pens and paddocks although during wet and icy weather this is not always possible After living on the farm in temporary accommodation ( a park home bought unseen fromE bay !!) We are hoping to achieve planning permission for a permanent home this year .
